in the u.s. it is well known that if you’re black you will get pulled over by the police. this racist practice has long been in existence. it’s how the u.s. maintains it’s connection to its history of slavery through modern forms of racism. the zionist state, the wanna-be american 51st state, loves to take american racist practices–from the genocide and theft of land that belonged to the indigenous people (it’s indigenous people’s day today, by the way) to the the most recent trends in racism (imprisoning, torture, racial profiling). tawfiq jamal, the man who was driving his car on yom kippur has now been arrested. for driving. supposedly he was speeding. where’s the evidence, you say? after all, israel is the only democracy in the middle east. here’s your democracy:
Police arrested Monday a man they hold responsible for sparking the Akko riots over Yom Kippur. The Akko Magistrate’s Court has remanded him for five days.
During the five days since the outbreak of the riots between Jews and Arabs in Akko, police received witness testimony from residents of the east Akko neighborhood who stated that driver Taufik Jamal was driving at an unreasonably fast pace and almost hit several Jewish pedestrians on their way back from synagogue.
Jamal denied that he was speeding and also that he was playing provocatively loud music as witnesses claimed.
Police commander Shimon Koren, head of the northern division, explained that the driver was arrested today after a thorough examination caused police to suspect that Jamal’s behavior had constituted reckless endangerment.
There were rumors around the city that Jamal’s son was actually the one behind the wheel, rumors that the police have dismissed. Jamal’s son, who had been detained, has been released.
yes racism reigns supreme in the zionist state and in the u.s. as does blaming the victim. this is the latest of obama’s islamophobia.
The Obama campaign said it was a mistake for an outreach coordinator to join a meeting last month attended by leaders of two controversial Muslim groups as it seeks votes from large Muslim populations in swing states.
Minha Husaini, newly named as head of the campaign’s outreach coordinator to Muslims, attended a discussion session Sept. 15 with about 30 Muslim leaders and community members in suburban Washington, the Obama campaign confirmed. Participants included leaders of the Council of American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society, which have been cited by the government in the past for ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.
In August, the campaign’s previous coordinator, Mazen Asbahi, resigned over a similar issue, pointing up one kind of challenge facing the campaign: pursuing the votes of the Muslim community while not perpetuating any misunderstandings about Sen. Barack Obama’s religion. Sen. Obama is a Christian.
where is the outrage?
